Well-being is a multifaceted state with inputs such as physical and mental health, nutrition, social connection, belonging, purpose, safety, ease, and many more further intricate elements. Serendipitously, the recipes for individual well-being tend to also support collective well-being and ecological balance. I will add to this section periodically to share some of the key ingredients for well-being recognized by experts and how they translate to broader impacts.

Mindfulness
The Oxford Dictionary defines mindfulness as, “a mental state achieved by focusing one’s awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one’s feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations, used as a therapeutic technique.”
